I'm ending my time on the book on a bittersweet note.  I've enjoyed working with this wonderful team, and think we put together some great books.  It's certainly something that I'll find missing in my day to day, I already do.

Off to work from the freelance side of things as my contract is up. I'm excited about the opportunities that are available to me now that I'm no longer tied to one specific company.  Exciting and scary times!

NYCC's first charity art auction.

Friday the 14th the NYCCis holding it's 1st annual charity art auction, benefitting St. Jude's Children's hospital. I'm contributing this piece.  Please, come out and bid, it's helping a great, well deserving cause.

Commissions are open for NYCC

I'm taking on a few commissions to do before the NYCC, to drop off at the show.  If you'd like to set something up you can get in touch with me over at Deviant art or Facebook. Full figure sketches are $100, but I'm also taking on more expensive ones like these examples.

I'll also be doing pieces at the show, but, as time is limited I usually fill up quickly.   Stop by and say hi.  I'm at U10 in artist's alley.  See you there!

Baltimore Comic Con!!

Next weekend I'm off to the wonderful Baltimore Comic Con!! Throughout the show I'll be signing and sketching for the Hero Initiative.  I always have a great time in Baltimore, friendly people, amazingly fun show and all the comicbook goodness you could possibly want!!

This year I'll be giving back, in my own small way.  The Hero Initiative does great work, helping those who built our industry.  You may or may not know, but working in comics can be unforgiving.  No retirement, no healthcare... all the stumbling blocks that make up a freelance life.  While those of us making our living in comics today are able to make a decent living the people who built this industry often were not.  Hero helps them out.  Look them up, they do good work, deserving of our support.

At any rate, stop by and say hi!  Get some comics signed, maybe get a sketch, and toss a buck or two in the jar.  You'll feel good doing it!

Wizard World Philadelphia!

I'll be appearing all weekend long.  It's always a fun show, so stop by and say hi!  I'll be behind the table sketching for most of the show. But if you'd like to set something up beforehand I'll be taking on a few commissions to prepare at home.  $100 for a full figure inked sketch,  $150 for ink plus tonal marker and  $200 gets something along these lines.  So, give me a shout here, on twitter or on Deviant art and we can set something up.  I only have time to take a few, so jump in fast.  These are for pickup at the con only.

You can check out a preview here. Christos wrote a fantastic story and my cohorts Scott and Jeromy make me look amazing!  I'm having a ton o' fun on this book.  Hope you guys check it out and enjoy it too!
